Loyalty

Hi viewers, today I will be talking about Loyalty.

Loyalty is someone that is very honest with you, doesn’t tell anyone what you told

them when you told them to not to and also doesn’t break your trust. When someone is

loyal they show it by proving to you that you can trust them and that they are loyal

about almost everything, they also show that they will not break your trust as long as

you don’t break their trust. Loyal people usually start by getting to know each other

more and talk a lot, that's how you can gain trust to that person and when you trust

them they will be honest to you and they will prove to you that they are loyal, simply

by not telling anyone what you tell them and respecting you.

Shark infested custard

Hello viewers today I will be telling you what we have done today in Health.

We have played this game called Shark infested custard. You will be given 3 hula hoops and will be divided into 3 groups, each group has 5 people in it you can have 6 if you would like but it will make the game harder. The purpose of the game was to reach the end without dragging the hula hoops and if you touched the ground you would have to reset all over again. You cannot also carry the hoop while walking and put it in front, your team must stay inside the hoop and one of them has to carry the other hoop and pass it to your team to put it in front so we can keep moving forward and reach to the end.

Me and my team, which was Kelesi, Samuel, Briana and Toni, discussed a strategy for us to be able to reach the end. We started by putting the down the 3 hoops about 1-2 metres away from each hoop, then from each hoop our team would be separated into 2 or 3 from the 2 hoops so that one of our team mates would be able to get the other hoop and pass it to one of us to put it in front so we can keep moving forward.

I have participated in the game because it looked fun and it was to also show about our interpersonal skills that we have. The game was really fun even if we didn't make it to the end because we worked as a team and we didn't leave each other behind. We just thought of another strategy for us to try and make it to the end a little.

Here is a photo of me and my team working out on how we can get to the end.

Marshmallow Tower

Today we started to do an activity. The activity was who can make the tallest marshmallow tower. There is 5 people in each team, each team has 8 sticks, 12 marshmallows and a cup, there is a time limit which only reach up to 12 minutes. By the end of 12 minutes the tower should be standing still using the materials that we have only got and no one should be holding the tower anymore by the end of the 12 minute timer.

Me and my team which was Lily, Tony, Jessica and Brianna separated the marshmallows into little pieces and Tony started to make a hole at the back of the cup so that the tower will be holded by the cup. After she did that we started to hand in the leftover sticks and put it on top of the other stick, for it to stay still we added the marshmallow that we have separated into little pieces at the bottom of the stick.

After that we repeated the same thing all over again until it couldn't go up anymore. Our tower had fallen down when the 12 minutes ended because it wasn't really a proper hold for the tower. The tower that we made couldn't stay still so we had to leave it alone since the 12 minutes ended. After that we tidied everything since the other team won and we got a marshmallow to eat at the end.

Here is a photo of us building it.

Activity of Active Listening

The skills that I have used today was active listening and showed that I was drawing the picture that my partner was trying to describe. I felt quite okay with my partner he described it quite well and my drawing was quite close to the picture.

The activity helped me how to communicate with a person that I don't usually communicate with, so the activity showed me a little bit of confidence to try and talk to my partner about the picture that he was describing. It was a success because I can hear him quite clear and it was easy for me to draw about the picture that he was describing.

Today I worked well with Sam and it was well because he explained and describe the picture clearly and he did that by telling me where the things are like which side where they were so that it would be easy to understand where to draw the things that he was describing.

If I get the chance to do the activity again, I would try and speak up to them quite more so that I will be able to understand about the picture that they are describing and say a lot more things about the picture so that the picture that they draw of what they think what it looks like will be quite close to the picture that I was describing.
